Choppy's Restaurant Pepper Hill

Dear customer,

We are delighted to finally announce that, after 18 months of negotiations with the former landlord, we have purchased the freehold of the Waggon & Horses. We will therefore be closing our doors after service on Sunday, 26th January 2025 for a full refurbishment.

When we reopen, our menu will still include many of our most popular dishes, and also incorporate other cuisines to offer more variety. Both the restaurant and garden will have a brand new look, which we envisage will be ready in time for the summer for everyone to enjoy. There will also be many familiar faces returning in terms of staff and management, and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We would like to take this chance to say a huge thank you to our customers! It has been a pleasure to be part of the community for the last 16 years, and many customers have become more like family and friends, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to the new restaurant.
